Physical
Education Department includes gym
activities, aquatics, lifetime leisure
activities, and team sports. Our staff
consists of Jacqueline Goosen and Rose Mumma
our Adapted PE teachers and Special Olympic
coaches.
Nate Campbell
is our newest addition to the PE staff he
has worked in the district for 15 years as a
paraprofessional. He is now are pool
paraprofessional. We are very excited that
he is part of our team.
Our Goals

To increase or maintain student movement

To provide motor appropriate activities

To work on all sensory systems through
movement
·
To develop fundamental motor skills,
cognitive skills, and social skills
IMPORTANT
INFORMATION
·
Students must me 8 or older to participate
in Special Olympics (excluding the Area
games all are welcome)
·
Every student must have a recent physical
for Special Olympics that is good for 3
years
·
Every student must have a recent swim
permission that is good for 1 year
