Overview
The Language Arts program at Macomb ISD is based on the Michigan
Department of Education English Language Arts Standards and Benchmarks.
Our mission is to provide leadership for a balanced literacy program
throughout the curriculum equipping students with the communication
skills necessary to become literate and informed individuals.

MLPP
The MLPP 2000 is an instructional system that provides one way
teachers can document and explain what they know about a child's
literacy learning and performance levels.

writings from two prompts: "First" and "A Person I Admire."
