Office of Education Policy

Overview

The Office of Education Policy provides leadership and support for Macomb County’s 21 constituent school districts in the analysis and implementation of federal, state and local education initiatives and mandates by:

serving as a liaison with local, regional and state educational agencies and organizations as well as county and state elected leaders;
analyzing and communicating the implications of federal and state education initiatives and proposed legislation;
providing assistance in resolving issues related to education policy;
providing guidance in developing sound education policy for the county and the state; and
serving as a resource for stakeholders and decision-makers regarding issues related to education.
