Professional Development Opportunity Funds - Macomb Teachers

Recognizing the consequences of the recent state aid reductions, the MISD has established a Professional Development Opportunity fund to assist local districts in professional development.

The fund will do two things:

1. reimburse substitute costs at your district's daily rate, up to $100, for teachers attending MISD professional development programs and
      
2. subsidize workshop fees up to 50% of fees of $75 or more for training in core academic areas (eg. Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies) and school improvement.
