Event Description

Participants will explore the Patterns of Wonder book through a lens of playful inquiry and possibility. The authors, Whitney LaRocca and Jeff Anderson show us how to use their invitational process to invite beginning writers into an engaging world of excitement, energy, and – most of all – wonder.

This two day series (October 9th and October 15th, 2024) will focus on foundational writing practices, beginning with oral language development, with a focus on conventions of language and allow for classroom application with time for reflection.  See flyer for additional info.

Target Audience: K-2 Educators, Literacy Coaches, Interventionists, EL Staff, Special Education Staff and Administrators

Cost: $100 (includes dinner, book and mentor text)
