Event Description
Target Audience: Secondary Math Teachers, Grades 6-12.
This course is a combination with two 3 hour In-Person dates and two 1 1/2 hour Virtual dates.
In Building Thinking Classrooms in Mathematics, author and professor Peter Liljedahl brings to life his years of research by addressing common challenges in today’s mathematics classrooms: student engagement, deep thinking, collaboration, discourse, homework, and so much more. Embark on this book study with us as we journey through this resource together and think critically about our instructional practices and ultimately, how we might best support our students.

Participants will walk away from our first session together equipped with a plethora of resources: the book, 10 heavy-duty wipebook flipcharts, dry-erase markers, and erasers.
