Facilitators: MISD Coaching Network Facilitators


Audience: K-12 instructional coaches in ALL content/focus areas, Educators new to the coaching role, Coaches who have not yet participated in an MISD coaching network, Coaches who feel they need more foundational skills in coaching

The 2025 MISD Instructional Coaching Bootcamp is an intensive 2-day introductory session intended to prepare new or less experienced K-12 instructional coaches for their job duties and responsibilities. The content is focused on reviewing the Student-Centered Coaching Model developed by Diane Sweeny and Leona Harris, and participants will have whole-group learning and breakout opportunities to meet with facilitators from the specific MISD coaching network in which they plan to participate throughout the school year. Participants will leave with an understanding of coaching theory, practical tools for organizing their schedule, resources for troubleshooting difficult situations and connections with peers to feel supported in their coaching roles.
