Event Description

Build your STEM culture one book at a time.  This workshop will explore how to integrate select children's literature titles with STEM concepts and activities in the 5th grade classroom.  Engage in four-unit curriculum full of inventing, engineering, and design thinking!  Each book has a corresponding STEM challenge that gently scaffolds for both the teacher and student.  Aligned with NGSS, ISTE, SEL and ELA standards - this workshop is approachable and engaging.

Target Audience:  5th Grade Teachers

Workshop Cost:  $175.00

Participants will receive books and ideas to go back to classrooms and get started right away!  Limited to the first 20 registrants.

Please note this is a 2-day series.
